United Women in Faith
United Women in Faith seeks to connect and nurture women through Christian spiritual formation, leadership development, creative fellowship, and education so that they can inspire, influence and impact local and global communities.
Circles
Each UWF circle, or small group, includes elements of fellowship and support, spiritual growth; and missions. The emphasis varies from circle to circle and from month to month, so the best way to decide which circle you want to join is to try them out. Visitors are always welcome!

Harmony Circle meets on the second Tuesday morning of the month at 9:30 in member homes. The group is currently studying Colossians by Joyce Meyer.

Rebekah Circle meets on the second Wednesday morning of the month at 9:30, usually at Christ UMC, but sometimes in restaurants. This group is a mix of ages with most over 50. Programs varied: speakers, field trips, book discussions, service projects, special events.

Priscilla Circle
Priscilla Circle meets on the fourth Monday mornings of the month at 10:00 in the Trinity Building at Christ UMC. Meetings consist of a program, devotions, and refreshments.

All women are invited to join special interest groups. For details about group meetings, check the United Women in Faith page of our newsletter. Contact the church office with any questions or to be connected with a group's leader.
G4G Ghana
G4G Ghana is an organization based in Northern Illinois that distributes washable sanitary pads to girls in Ghana. Join the women of CUMC who help make pads for G4G in the Trinity Building. No sewing experience is necessary; there are jobs for everybody!
G4G meets on the third Monday of each month from 1:00-4:00 pm
Out-to-Lunch Bunch
This group of women meets monthly to try new restaurants and enjoy fellowship together. Visitors and new freinds are always welcome! For information about where the group is meeting and who to call to reserve a spot, check the United Women in Faith page of the newsletter.
Out-to-Lunch Bunch meets on the last Thursday of the month at 12:30 pm
Greeting Card Makers
This group gather in the Trinity Building to enjoy each other’s company as they make greeting cards of all kinds. Decorative supplies and donated greeting cards are used to make new ones. Cards are sold at the fall craft show and on some Sunday mornings. Join to help make or sell cards!

Quilting Group
Anyone interested in quilting (experts or just getting started) is welcome to join this fellowship group in the Trinity Building. The quilters work on quilts, wall hangings, table runners, and other projects for the "Ta-Da" quilt program + sale in June as well as for the fall craft show.
The quilters meet every Thursday at 9:00 am from January - October
